Note

The ferry to Manly is considered a ´must do´ for any visitor in Sydney, and the 30 min ferry ride gives you a truly unique understanding of why this city has become so successful. Sydney has a very unique location, which is naturally protected from the powers of the Pacific Ocean. On board you have a perfect view of the Sydney skyline, including the stunning Sydney Opera house designed by Danish architect Joern Utzon. Your final destination Manly is not a bad place either and is home to many backpackers, who camp here as their outpost for the city. Apparently many of the backpackers never make it to the city, because they fall in love with the paradise atmosphere of Manly. //Little Known: Upon opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge the traffic with the Sydney ferries dropped overnight from 30 to 13 million passengers a year.
