RIP - A mural for Berlin. Berlin, Germany
Note

RIP - A new housing project was built right in front. Arturo Herrera from Venezuela. Untitled, 2005 (A mural for Berlin). A painting like a modern abstract wall frieze or a calligraphic landscape. Herrera’s graffiti resp. painting is not to identify by readable tags or familiar street art styles. His abstract painting mirrors the used wall and its urban surrounding. Arturo Herrera had solo exhibitions at the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York and participated at the Whitney Biennial (2002). He received a Fellowship at the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) The DAAD gallery you can find right behind the wall painting at Zimmerstr. 90/91
