Make Art Not War. Berlin, Germany
Note

Shepard Fairey visited Berlin for painting a beautiful mural at Mehringplatz. And he left in the city several pastings and stickers. Of course, also his famous Obey face.
Fairey became world famous with the design of the 'Obama HOPE' picture which was used as iconic image for the presidential campaign, in 2008. His first OBEY stickers he created in 1989. Today, OBEY is a brand for his work and an own clothing line.

Make Art Not War was completed by Fairey and his team in september and faces another excellent large-scale piece by Danish artist Don John which was already done during the summer. The two walls are organized by Urban Nation on behalf of a housing association. A project to enhance the neighborhood. They have plans to invite new artists regularly, for the two walls.
