RIP - Karaoke Star. Berlin, Germany
Note

RIP - A new housing project was built right in front. Portrait of Joe Hatchiban, the founder of the Mauerpark Karaoke, done by Portuguese graffiti and street artist Alexandre Farto, aka Vhils. His portraits are carved with hammers and chisels. This work is a series of four that you will find in Berlin and is a part of a large marketing campaign. Mauerpark is one of the coolest parks in Berlin; it serves multiple purposes and gathers a very culturally diverse crowd especially on the weekends. There you will find a large flea market, picnic area, and of course the biggest draw is the karaoke events. It is a fantastic happening that you should not miss when you are in Berlin. It takes place in the stone amphitheater on Sunday afternoons, where the brave-hearted spectators, as well as other singers entertain the audience.
