Note

The Berlin Clock or 'Set Theory Clock' (German: Mengenlehreuhr) is the first clock of the world which tells the time by illuminated, coloured fields. It was designed by Dieter Binninger and was set up in 1975. How can you read the time? The round field o top indicates the seconds. Row 1 + 2 are for the hours. Row 3 + 4 for the minutes. Multiply the lighted fields of row 1 with 5 and add the lights of row 2. The same for the minutes. Multiply the lights of row 3 by 5 and add the last line. In the 3rd row every 3rd light is red, which indicates 15, 30 resp. 45 minutes. That helps! Ok, on the photo, it's 14:14. And by the way, midnight (00:00) you will see just the blinking light for the seconds ;)
