From the new take on a breakfast item, Bubbles that Squeak, a bubble & squeak pattie, with some smoky duck sausage, house made chilli chutney & a poached egg.
The hearty chunks of cauliflower in the patty, made this dish for me. Alongside the not too spicy chutney. Beautifully pan fried veggie patties & a delicious meaty sausage.
My dining companion chose Beeting the Sheep described as a Slow cooked lamb filling, in pastry with goats curd. Pinenuts, pickled beetroot, with Radish & snow pea tendrils salad.
Perfect little cigars arrive of crispy caramelised shards of pastry, with meltingly soft lamb. A delicious little compote of beetroot and a fresh salad. Another sure fire winner.
For your veggie friendly friend, the Snowman in Summer is their go to dish. Marinated Dutch carrot salad, with blanched Kale, avocado, toasted pepitas, lemon yogurt dressing
Arriving on a plate, piled high with healthy yummy goodness, were some juicy caramelised carrots with kale, roasted pepitas & a tangy zing of lemon.
