Valerio Capo and Sam Pratt founded Gallery FUMI in 2008 in London. The first design gallery to open in Shoreditch, FUMI focuses on emerging and established designers with a penchant for material experimentation. The gallery specializes in limited-edition and one-off commissioned design pieces that, while still functional, can often teeter on the very edge of usability.
Their designer roster includes, among others, contemporary standouts such as Max Lamb, Faye Toogood, Glithero, Studio Silverlining, Hilda Hellstrom, Sam Orlando Miller, and Study O Portable.
