Day 1: Arrival at KIA and transfer to Arusha
After arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our driver who will transfer you to Mount Meru hotel in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha- Tarangire NP
After breakfast head off to Tarangire for game-viewing, as you look down from the ridge, it is not difficult to see why Tarangire river becomes the dry season magnet for the vast heads of up to 300 elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, impala, buffalos, tree climbing pythons, gazelle, and hartebeest and over 500 bird species that must come down to drink while tall Maasai giraffe are visible as they make their way elegantly through the trees on the river’s edge. Baobab trees, the Sausage trees found along watercourses and Acacia tortilis (umbrella trees) that excellently frame a picture at sunset. After the noon, drive towards the camp for lunch break, then after lunch drive back for the evening game drive and then head off towards the camp. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire River camp
Day 3: Tarangire- Lake Manyara NP
After your early morning breakfast, leave camp and spend a full day game-viewing in Lake Manyara National Park, The Lake shimmers below the western Great Rift wall in the heat haze, home to flamingos, pelicans and innumerable other water birds. As you drive through a luscious green underground water forest, you will spot tree climbing lions, buffalo, dik-dik, giraffe, hyenas, impala, baboon, monkey, bush pig, wildebeest, hartebeest, hippos and many more. Also has a fantastic profusion of birdlife over 400 species. You will have time to freshen up, before enjoying a filling and hearty dinner by the campfire. Dinner and overnight at Wild Africa camp
Day 4: Lake Manyara- Ngorongoro Crater
Depart after having your hearty breakfast in the morning for a full day game-drive in the Ngorongoro Crater floor. From the viewing point hundreds of meters above Ngorongoro crater, the panorama spreads out in a vast amphitheatre. The hills rise smooth from the crater floor through evergreen forest, and rain clouds cascade over the eastern rim. As you drive down the descend road, the black dots below becomes discernable shapes, with the crater becoming ever more beautiful and irresistible. Zebra and wildebeest mix on the crater floor along with some 50 lions, 400 hyenas, grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, cheetah, antelopes, hippos, various types of jackal, greater and lesser flamingo and many other species. In the evening head back to your camp for dinner and overnight at Gibbs Farm camp
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti NP
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro Crater for Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge where the skull of Zinjanthropus nicknamed “the Nutcracker” due to large back molars found by Dr. Louis and Mary Leaky in 1959, the museum behind Olduvai's viewing platform provides some further clues as to the secrets such as the prehistoric tools and the bones of extinct animals and the exhibits, tell their own story of yesteryear. You will visit Maasai boma, have lunch en-route and on arrival proceed for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mbuzi Mawe camp
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for the morning game drive as Serengeti offers the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa such as great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, thousands upon thousands eland, topi, kongoni, impala, grant gazelle, lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers, leopards haunt the acacia tree and cheetahs prowls the endless plains. Over 500 bird species ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the sky. In the mid-afternoon head back to you camp for lunch and after a little relaxation break at the campsite head back for your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mbuzi Mawe camp
Day 7: Serengeti- Fly Home
On your final day you get up early for a last game drive in the Serengeti. Or opt for Hot Air Balloon ride for stupendous views of animals from a certain vintage point about 200 meters above the savannah grassland plains. Then in the late morning you’ll take a light aircraft flight from the Serengeti back to Kilimanjaro Airport. You’ll be met here and transferred to Kia Lodge, where you have a day room to relax and refresh before connecting onto your flight back to home.
