Momix Bar (Molecular Mixology)

Combining cocktails with molecular gastronomy, Momix delivers an incomparable experience in taste, texture and design. Their cocktails are innovative and begs the question - why has no other cocktail bar gone down this road?

At first, I crassly asked the mixologist to make me something based on a smoky whiskey after having been told that they didn't serve the one cocktail I had picked out of the menu. The guy told me that he unfortunately didn't have a smokey whiskey... But he'd be happy to smoke it for me! I said please and the journey started. 2 hours later, I had tried a number if fantastic cocktails that thoroughly exceeded my expectations.

The place is not all that cozy, but the product makes up for all other shortcomings. I will visit here every time I'm in Athens going forward.
