From Time Out’s four star review: ‘The dishes are British-leaning and favour the grazers - fish and meat come cured, as pâtés or potted, or there are small plates of seasonal greens. On our visit, we enjoyed the silky folds of thinly sliced pork cheek served simply with nicely charred breads and tumescent caperberries; and a small dish of salt-crusted whole broad beans from the grill (reminiscent of Japanese-style soy beans, edamame). But the larger 'main course' dishes are no less impressive: from our perfectly judged bavette steak, to a tender grilled quail served with a caesar-like salad of baby gem lettuce with anchovies plus berkswell cheese.’
