Flat Rock Gully and Tunks park

A fabulous walk through native bushland along Flat Rock Gully Reserve under The Suspension Bridge built in 1892, out across man-made parkland Tunks Park to the waters edge at Mortlock Reserve, Long Bay. Only the locals know this one. Bring your frisbee, a snack, a hat and sunscreen. It's a haven of nature in the suburbs not far from the city. Take the bus. The 251, 253 or 285 will get you from Town Hall station or Wynyard station in the city out to Willoughby Rd and Brook St. Its a short walk down Brook Street to Flat Rock Gully Reserve.
