Take the ferry out of Sydney Harbour north to Manly. Many great cafes and restaurants line the wharf. Right next to the wharf is a beautiful calm harbour beach for swimming and the Manly Sea Life Aquarium - a rare opportunity to see Dugongs up close, as well as sharks, stingrays and lots of fish, big and small. Stroll up The Corso for shopping, ice cream and the local Surf Beach.
