Note

This Foundation’s main objectives are the conservation and restoration of national heritage works of art, the furthering of the Fine Arts, especially the exhibition of painting and sculpture and artistic interchange (like Miquel Barcelo, pic.2). A wonderful rose-garden welcomes a visitor, featuring more than 100 varieties of old English roses. It has been based on a “Hortus Conclusus” or medieval garden. Inside the foundation collections of contemporary art, the SoKraTES space (focusing on the relationship between space and time), a park featuring stone sculptures, and the ‘Nins’ collection comprising more than 150 portraits of children (16th to 19th century, royalty- and aristocracyportraits from different countries) are exhibited.
Part of the collection has been declared a National Heritage.
