Tianmen or “Heavenly Gate” mountain is named for an enormous gaping hole in the center of a rock towering over the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China.
Close to this gate a glass walkway slithers around the vertical cliffs of the mountain, bringing some heartbeats and adrenaline peaks to pedestrians daring to walk it. The skywalk, a crystal clear bridge 3 feet wide and 2 1/2 inches thick, sits 4,700 feet up the mountain, offering breathtaking views and spine-tingling thrills.
