Studio weil

Studio Weil is an extraordinary formed painting and sculpture studio designed by Studio Daniel Liebeskind for the American artist Barbara Weil.

They worked close to create a building not only responding to the surrounding landscape and those views over the bay of Andratx, but also forming a space that complements and contrasts the Weils works in a gallery and workshop, where the architecture in its form, materiality and geometry illuminates, complements and gives voice to the art of the artist.
Port d’Andratx. A massive void in the building in which Ms Weil hangs sculptural pieces is accessed through a slit that dissects the staircase.
