Note

The hike to Red Rock Falls is just one of the hikes found in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. To get to Many Glacier from the west side of the park, you’ll want to take the Going-to-the-Sun Road, which is an adventure in and of itself. The trail starts near the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn at the Swiftcurrent Pass trailhead. The trail is fairly easy and is less than 4.5 miles roundtrip. Upon reaching Red Rock Falls, you’ll notice that it is actually comprised of several cascade waterfalls. If you’re feeling up to it after the hike, stop in for lunch at Many Glacier Hotel on your way out. The views from the dining room are spectacular. // Little known: According to the Glacier National Park website, scientists believe that all of the park’s glaciers will be gone by 2020 due to climate change.
