The Slanted Door serves up authentic Vietnamese food in a contemporary space overlooking the bay. It started back in 1995 as a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and now is one of the city's most beloved dining spots. This is one of San Francisco's most popular and talked about venues and a trip through the city's restaurants wouldn't be complete without trying their delectable dishes. Little known: adjecent to the restaurant is a newly opened store which sells sauces, spices, teas, cookbooks, meal kits, and hard-to-find Asian cooking supplies and utensils, all handpicked by Executive Chef/Owner, Charles Phan.
