Stepping into West of Pecos is one of the most authentic Southwestern restaurant experiences you'll get outside of New Mexico. Saloon style doors, a giant steerhead skull, Navajo rugs, and a bar framed with wood from abandoned mines. The chef is a Santa Fe native who is cooking up freshly made tortillas, ribs, steak, green chile burger and more. It's fairly priced and they have small plate options for even cheaper. West of Pecos is a sensational Southwester experience from the moment you walk in the saloon doors to the moment the waiter sets down Southwestern-style ribs in front of you. Little known: In the kitchen is a pizza oven which is used to make hand-made tortillas and roasting meats.
