Classic, traditional and fancy, Spruce has a way with winning people over. Though dining here comes at a steep price, to indulge in the contemporary American cuisine served in a space that looks like it is right out of the Mad Men set, is well worth the price. The crowd is older, but what it lacks in hipness, it makes up for in class. This is a place to impress a date, celebrate an anniversary, or go out with friends for a fancy drink night. Little known: the wine list has over 1,300 labels.
