Ferry Plaza Farmers Market

This market is know as one of the top Farmers Markets in the country. On Saturdays especially, local chefs can be spotted picking up some farm-fresh food. The market is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays with different focuses on each day. Go on Saturday for the best market experience as there is much more open. Hours (year-round) are Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-2pm, Saturday 8am-2pm. Little know: the famed Alice Waters of Chez Panisse is said to hang out frequently at this market.
