Night market with great street food. Lively til late hours. At the crossing of Yau Ma Tei and Jordan, go to Temple Street. Here you’ll find the Yau Ma Tei temple (come back here at night to see the night market – normally open until 10pm). There are tons of temples dedicated to Yau Ma Tei in HK, but this one of the most important in Kowloon. In the park around you’ll see people singing Cantonese opera or dancing. Nearby you have the Jade Market (99% of the stuff they sell is fake but you’ll find here lots of funny amulets and quirky jewellery). If you want to buy something, most likely you’ll have to bargain.
