This small and intimate vegetarian restaurant nestles next to the imposing church of Santa Maria del Mar in the Born area. Its bright and cheerful décor is refreshing and upbeat. The menu is entirely vegetarian but not extensive, offering a choice of three or four starters and a similar number of mains. The salads are fresh and healthy, some fruit based, others legume based. I chose the marinated banana risotto for my main course which, despite oozing a little too much butter, was lightly spiced with chilli and very tasty indeed. I sampled some excellent mozzarella and avocado burritos. The desserts are by no means elaborate but the banana bread and chocolate cake were delicious and left me wanting to go back for more. Service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, although the lighting was a little too bright in the evening. Dimming the lights would add a touch of intimacy. An ideal place for a cheap, informal, healthy meal.
