Oh so hip, with its exposed brick walls, upper-level coffee roaster, glossy tiles and exposed wooden beams, Reuben Hills earns its cred with excellent coffee and incredible food. My favourite spot is the communal table at the back, which opens out into a backstreet, to enjoy a breakfast of baleadas (wheat flour tortilla filled with delicious things like pulled pimenton pork and chimol, or eggs, queso fresco and black beans) and a coffee (try an espresso of the day). Oh and the Dogg's Breakfast: an ice cream sandwich in a puddle of salted caramel.
