Apsley House, located right at Hyde Park corner, is a very beatiful private mansion, once the house of the famous Duke of Wellington. It can be the perfect conclusion, or also the beginning, of a stroll along Hyde Park; moreover it is a nice place where to go when it rains!
You have to pay a ticket to visit it, but you receive also a free audio-guide that explains the most amazing pieces of art during the visit and give some interesting tales about the Wellesleys family (who still lives in the house!).
