Walking along the Regents Canal is a surprising, peaceful and fun experience in the middle of London. The canal is almost 14km long and goes from Paddington to Limehouse basin, passing through Maida Vale and Camden. During the weekend the canal is full of people walking, running, cycling, chatting, having lunch. On Sunday if you are alone and do not want to walk too long, you can go to St Pancras and follow the Canal to the lively Camden Market: it takes less than half an hour. Then, if you are not tired, it is definitely worth going on to Primrose Hill.
