Forming the foothills of the Pyrenees, this rock formation rises to nearly 300 metres and is breathtaking in the changing light and from different angles. The best way to appreciate it is to do a circular hike around it. Maps are available locally and the hike is marked starting from the village at the base. It is a steep walk uphill taking the route around to the left of the rocks, but the views are definitely worthwhile. Loop back behind the rocks and continue on for a more gentle route down. In total the walk is between 4 and 5 hours. At the top you can see birds of prey swooping below and you may spy some brave rock climbers too.
