Craig and Anne Stoll’s first restaurant that started it all (they also have Locanda and the pizzeria). this unpretentious trattoria has simple, soulful Northern Italian cuisine paired with great wines by knowledgeable staffers; just reserve well in advance as it’s often crowded, or you might wind up at their pizzeria next door. Order the squid appetizer and the fresh anchovies if they have them.
