Part of the rising Ital-Cal movement, Beretta serves up Italian comfort food using fresh, organic, and locally-sourced ingredients. Their cocktails are to die for, but their thin crust pizza is really where it's at. There is a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The in-house bar ranks among Food & Wine's Top 50 Bars in American -- that alone is enough to draw one in. It does get busy but is well worth the wait -- just an excuse to hang out at the huge bar! Little know: the dessert menu includes several types of gelato but try the panna gelato with extra virgin olive oil & sea salt. Yum!
