One of the less-well known of the Gaudí buildings in Barcelona, the Torre Bellesguard is rather out of the way on the street of the same name
It was built between 1900 and 1917 (though Gaudí himself stopped work on it in 1909), on the site of the castle of the last of the Catalan kings, origins which the tower and battlements on the house were clearly intended to reflect.
The Art Nouveau interior is not open to the public.
