Café Tasso is a nice mixture of a book store with old books, many originally from the GDR, and a café with a good range of warm and cold meals for a low price. And they offer lots of events. Very nice to take a seat, flick through some books and have coffee or even one of the organic meals. Great to sit outside on the impressing Frankfurter Allee with the so called "Zuckerbäckerstil" buildings. Open Mo-Sa from 9.30h, Su from 10h. Weird, but true: On Frankfurter Allee there was the biggest workers revolt in the history of the GDR in 1953.
