Second biggest building in the world.
The Palace was designed and nearly completed by the dictatorial Ceaușescu regime. The materials used include one million cubic meters of marble from Transylvania, 3,500 tonnes of crystal and 480 chandeliers. There are 1100 rooms. Open for guides tours.
