Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is a charitable organization started in 1999 through the efforts of acclaimed photographer Kenro Izu. The hospital treats local children as well as providing training for health professionals from all over Cambodia. The Friends Center is located on the grounds of the hospital, across from the Central Market about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. The Friends Centre provides more information about the work of the hospital as well as hosting rotating art and photography exhibitions of work donated by Kenro Izu and other photographers and artists.
