Crif Dogs

When my husband and I went on our first official date together he took me to Crif Dogs in the East Village. This is not your cheap run of the mill hot dog place. Rather it’s a gourmet hot dog served in a dive. My husband’s favorite is the Spicy Redneck (house dog, bacon wrapped, with chili, cole slaw, and jalapenos) and mine is the Chihuahua (bacon wrapped dog covered with avocados and sour cream). Also if you’re lucky enough to get into PDT their entrance is in Crif Dogs through the phone booth.
