The world’s oldest surviving music hall, dating from the mid 19th century and where much popular entertainment was performed at the time.
Concerts, plays, films and other types of performances can once again be enjoyed here, while free events including music hall sing-alongs are held in the Mahogany Bar.
Hour long guided history tours of the wonderfully atmospheric venue are held on Mondays at 18.00 and I thought the tour guide was most informative about Wilton's complicated but fascinating history. Please check the website for detailed programme and booking information. The tour costs £6.
