This popular local osteria is known for its wild boar dishes, and I wholeheartedly recommend their pappardelle al cinghiale (wide pasta noodles with wild boar ragu). When in season, the taglierini al tartufo (taglierini pasta with fresh truffle) is exceptional. Their bistecca fiorentina is also brilliant, with good smoky char, comes properly rare ("al sangue") and well-rested. Closed Wednesdays, and bookings are highly recommended – plenty of people were turned away on our visit, and there was a long queue outside at 10pm still.
