A fine dining restaurant attached to the Rex Hotel near Termini. Tiny place, with space for around 20 diners, that's elegantly done up. The eponymous Pipero runs front of house affably. There's a tasting menu for €80, but I didn't find this very good value; I'd recommend, rather, coming for lunch and indulging in the excellent spaghetti carbonara, a speciality of the house. If available, the clam sauce spaghetti with flying fish roe, or the goats' cheese-filled ravioli with spinach and garlic sauce is also excellent.
