Executive chef Martin Boetz’s menu is a mouth-watering blend of Thai and Chinese influences, set in a 110 year old warehouse building in Surry Hills. It's as hip as it is delicious.
Martin strives to use sustainable and ethically sourced produce where possible - the focus on high quality shows on the plate.
Start with a world-class cocktail in the bar, Shortgrain, downstairs, then get into some serious food pleasure upstairs.
Try Martin's signature dish, an Eggnet filled with pork, prawns, peanuts, bean sprouts & sweet vinegar ($33), or a Betel leaf topped with trout, mint, green papaya & a chilli peanut relish ($6). His dishes are designed for sharing, so order up. The Caramelised pork hock with five spice and chilli vinegar ($33) is a crowd pleaser, as is the Jungle curry of barramundi with pea eggplants, bamboo, wild ginger and holy basil ($42) and Slow cooked peanut curry of Cape Grim beef brisket ($42).
Don't leave without trying dessert - the dessert sampler plate ($38) will have everything you need to try on it.
