The charming castle is sitting atop a promontory in Frederiksberg Garden. The garden itself is one of the most romantic sights in Copenhagen. A canal zigzags through the park and lovers of romance can rent a boat from May to September and cross the park in idyll. The castle itself was built in the mid 1700's by King Frederik V and offers a great view over Copenhagen. The park is neighbouring the Zoo, and has a great view over the famous elephant house.
