The old Bronze Age, Esterhøj is rich in history. The legend says that a troll lived in the hill, where he surrounded himself with great treasures.
He left because he couldn't stand the sound of the bell from from Asnæs and Vig Church, but before that he hid the key to the hill under a rock on Klint. The key can only be reached by lifting the stone in absolute silence.
To get to Esterhøj you walk from the parking area by Høvevej 57 along the marked path (150 m).
