Casa Independente

Situated in a former Palace, which hosted the Association of Civil Registration, this new bar in the Mouraria neighbourhood seeks to recapture the spirit of the ancient guilds and communities.

With a mix of different artists and local sub-cultures, they host regular exhibitions and events that are worth checking out when you're in town. Casa Independente has a tropical tavern, cafe with snacks and homemade delicacies, an exhibition area, a balcony, and a courtyard - something for everyone!
