Khmer Surin opened its doors in 1996 and has retained its quality, serving excellent and authentic Cambodian food.
Beautifully decorated in a Cambodian wooden house, the restaurant has three floors of different seating and settings. The first floor is table seating surrounded by tropical plants and flowers, second floor is traditional Khmer style sitting on the floor with cushions, and the third floor is open air seating with a view of Phnom Penh city.
Despite the size of the restaurant, candles, soft lighting, Khmer art, and flowers make the experience intimate. The menu is extensive with chefs able to amend dishes to suit your taste. Food and drinks are good value with most dishes ranging from $4 - $7 USD.
