Head a stop or two away from the city in any direction and you'll strike breakfast gold. This occasion it's two stops on the train heading Northwest. The Premises is one of a strip of cafes on leafy Bellair St with views back to the city. Really, we could have chosen any of them (arguably Fruits of Passion does better coffee) but if you are looking for something beyond the bog-standard bacon and eggs or big breakfast - you'll find it here. Oh and out the front on the street has been Yarn Bombed, which gives it an edge.
Hot Tip: grab a window seat for the two stop train journey out here from the city. The section between North Melbourne and Kensington is one the larger graffiti galleries in the city. Premises is across from the train station exit.
