Located around the corner from Wat Damnak (pagoda) in a Khmer village is this charming Cambodian house and gardens which have been converted into a very special restaurant. Seating is in the garden lit by fairy lights, downstairs in the elegant air-conditioned dining room, or upstairs in the more fan-cooled traditional wooden house.
Cuisine Wat Damnak prepares exceptional Cambodian and fusion cuisine using fresh local produce. A little different from most restaurants, Cuisine Wat Damnak does not have an a la carte menu, but instead features innovative degustation menus which change weekly according to the season and availability of ingredients. The four course menu is $19 USD, while the five course menu is $26 USD. Vegetarians and people with food allergies can be catered for.
The restaurant is a great venue for lovers of fine and innovative food and for romantics seeking a long lingering dinner. We recommend you email or phone in advance because the restaurant books out quickly, and also usually closes annually for renovations for a few weeks during September.
