The Khmer Ceramic and Fine Arts Centre is located on the road to Angkor (Charles de Gaulle Road) and was founded in 2006 to revive the skill and knowledge of ceramic making in Cambodia.
The centre produces a range of pottery and ceramics including tableware, vases, and other products both functional and decorative. Visitors can participate in a free guided tour of the workshop where you can try the potter’s wheel and even fire the kiln if you are keen.
For those wanting to make their own ceramics, a basic clay class costs $15 USD and takes around 1.5 hours. Free pick up is available. You will receive your own glazed piece delivered to your hotel or guesthouse within 24 hours. There is also a premium clay class which costs $25 USD, takes a little longer, and allows you to take home three glazed pieces of art.
