Kursaal Arts Centre is an auditorium and a congress centre, but also an exhibition place displaying the works of modern Basque artists. The entrance to the exhibition area is free-of-charge.
The Kursaal building is located on the site of the ancient Kursaal casino (a prison during the war). The old building was demolished and today is now two modern cubes by the architect Moneo.
It hosts the main attractions of the Movie Festival and has great views to the surfers' beach of Zurriola.
