It was in this house that Maria Severa Onofriana lived (and passed away in 1846). In the early 18th century she was considered to be the sublime expression of Fado. Legend has it that she bewitched men with the way she sang and played the Portuguese guitar, and this house is now, appropriately, a concert venue and cafe.
