Biomio Organic Cafe

BioMio is a dining hall style restaurant in the hip Kødbyen area of Copenhagen (the meat packing district). The concept is all about organic, healthy food made using fresh seasonal ingredients.

Even though the place seats 200 plus this is a friendly and chilled out eatery where you place your order directly with the chef. You can even hang around and watch your food being prepared. They are very accommodating for vegetarians, vegans and those who have particular food intolerances.

The kids menu is simple, homely food such as home made chicken dippers or meat balls. The stack of high chairs tells you this is a kid friendly place and there is a pile of children’s books and a basket of toys.

Simple, local and fresh – all that’s great about Copenhagen’s new Nordic food style, while remaining very child friendly.
