Made in Cambodia Shinta Mani monthly market and Club and Resort

Shinta Mani Club and Resort are located just around the corner from the Siem Reap River and a short distance from the Royal Gardens and the Old Market in the charming French Quarter of Siem Reap. The Club is on one side of the road while the Resort is on the other. Both have recently been refurbished by renowned architect and designer Bill Bensley. The Resort features 60 rooms and a junior suite with stunning views of the swimming pool and lush tropical gardens from the first floor balcony. The Club has a more intimate feel and only 39 rooms. The hotel supports the Shinta Mani Foundation, a non-government organisation which focuses on education, small business start-ups and health care.
Once a month during the low season from April to September and twice a month during the high season from October to March Shinta Mani host the Made in Cambodia market. It's a great opportunity to buy quality products which are made in Cambodia. The market normally starts at 4pm and goes until 9pm and there are snacks and drinks for sale. Music and regular appearances from performers at Phare the Circus and Rosana Broadway, as well as demonstrations of the ancient Khmer martial art of bokator by the Green Geckos children make it an entertaining evening.
