DiMe Bistrot

The industrial area of Venice is in flux, with old industries slowly closing down and new places opening up. After the launch of the big Nave di Vero shopping centre (the only one in the Venice area), cinemas and restaurants have started popping up, and DiMe Bistrot is the newest place.

DiMe is Veneto cuisine with a new touch. The young Serena Bergamo, head chef and general manager, is a local entrepreneur who, after living in the UK and Milan, decided to come back home to promote local cuisine among the young crowds.

Cocktail evenings inspired by the 1930s "Savoy Cocktail Book," gourmet burger nights, and specialty brunches are some of the weekly events. With a cosy garden and welcoming decor, this place is here to stay!
