A Khmer traditional arts performance is a completely unmissable activity while you are in Cambodia. Plae Pakaa is a performance show by Cambodia Living Arts - a not-for-profit organisation which helps in the development of arts associations and performers. The Plae Pakaa show is performed in the garden in front of the National Museum of Phnom Penh from October - March, Monday through to Saturday, starting at 7pm. The show features a wide range of Khmer traditional arts performances, including Apsara dances, a puppet show, a peacock dance, and folk dances.
Tickets are $15 USD and the profit goes to help students train with Cambodian Living Arts. Discounted tickets can be booked online up to 24 hours prior to the show.
